Stepping into Your Power

Growth in life can sometimes be a challenge. Depending on the situation you are in, challenges can make you lose your footing and your power. When you lose power, which is personal to you, many aspects of your life coincidently collide violently leaving you in a position you never ever anticipated seeing yourself in. Understanding your power is the key to having clarity of what can work for you and what no longer serves you. Let's get into the conversation of Stepping into Your Power.

What does your personal power feel like? Happy, sad, high, low, loving, kind, flamboyant, depressed, ambitious, energetic? Your power is magnetic and you attract who you are. This begs the question; 'How Does Your Personal Power Show Up in Your Life?'

Your personal power is lies in your self esteem, your confidence, how you connect with people, having adult and courageous conversations, being vulnerable, and healthy boundaries. Every opportunity you engage with someone or you do an activity of your choice, is your vitality high or does everything feel like a chore?

When you embrace, and exercise your personal power, the level of joy that invigorates you, as you skip out of bed, greet strangers with a smile and they smile back indicates that your vitality has increased. You are able to meet deadlines, deal with difficult people without taking it personally and just have a great social life with ease. Family and close friends are well, and you are living in the now! The heightened authenticity of energy you exude and emanate mirrors your frequency and the energy you put out and what you get back.

Have you ever considered how your power shows up for you professionally, romantically, spiritually, financially, socially and academically? Your power can do 1 of 2 things, elevant you or limit you and there is one way this shows up for you by the people you attract. Your energy attracts people who live in the same personal power and frequency you operate in and on.

When we discover we are losing power and recognise people we attract are on the same plane, sometimes we question how people around us are struggling, have poor relationships, have money issues, and work in a job that brings no joy, this is a big indication that their power has be lost, and they have unintentionally lost ownership of their personal power. The contrast of stepping into your power and losing your power illuminates choices we can choose daily in operating in our power. Some of us own it and many don't even know that it even exists.....but what is so sad to observe is many people know that they are responsible for their personal power and simply ignore their dreams, and aspirations by submitting to the needs of others reluctantly, through codependency or attachments in order to live in survival mode fearfully.

Those individuals who have not stepped into their power, tend to make excuses. Making excuses is a form of avoidance. An individual who is not ready to step into their power is someone who will sidestep their destiny by choosing to find a different route that is easier, lazier and simply doesn’t honour who they are or feed their soul.

In order to step into your power, stop making excuses. Stop making excuses why you look so badly dressed. Make a new powerful choice; buy new clothes! Stop judging people you work with; accept them, don't take their behaviour personally and look at improving yourself in some way. If you are struggling on elevating your emotional intelligence, read a book, join a group of people in positions where you see yourself someday, listen to my Podcasts….whatever you do, do something!

Everyday you have the opportunity to make a choice. You are If you are one person who is ready to step into their power, EVALUATE your life and be honest with yourself. This is the point where you make a decision, another day like yesterday or a new day with a new way tomorrow?

Your journey to regaining your internal power can be a challenge, but choosing happiness every day, even when it's hard is powerful. Continue being a support to people you love. Be THAT cheerleader, even if you have not reached your goals. In the midst as the days pass, your personal power will increase and you will see and feel more of yourself in a way more powerful than you ever believed.

Whatever you do, choose wisely!

Wishing you internal success on this powerful journey called life!

Love and Light,
